How to Uninstall CareMyPC Software

Every CareMyPC app uninstalls cleanly with Windows’ own tools. Nothing extra is installed alongside our apps — no toolbars, no bundled software, no background services left behind.

Uninstall from Windows Settings (Windows 10 & 11)

1. Open Start → Settings → Apps → Installed apps (Windows 10: Apps & features).
2. Find CareMyPC PC Optimizer, CareMyPC Data Recovery or CareMyPC Partition Manager.
3. Click ⋯ → Uninstall, then confirm.

Uninstall from Control Panel

1. Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl and press Enter.
2. Select the CareMyPC app and click Uninstall.

Installed from the Microsoft Store?

Right-click the app in the Start menu and choose Uninstall.

What happens to my licence and files?

• Your PRO licence key stays in My Account — reinstall any time and activate it again.
• Files you recovered or cleaned are not touched by uninstalling.
• App settings are removed. To also remove saved preferences, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\CareMyPC* folders after uninstalling.
